High School Student Volunteering

High school students interested in a healthcare career can gain invaluable experience by helping clinical staff, patients, and visitors at one of two John Muir Health locations. Student volunteers learn key skills such as administration, patient interaction, communication, organization, and leadership.

Both programs require students to be at least 14-1/2 years old, 2nd semester freshmen, and with a grade point average 3.0 plus. For additional qualifications, see distinct program details below.
