Each year, six nurses participate in the Evidence-Based Fellowship program, which supports them in implementing evidence-based projects in their departments. In September, the Fellows present their projects to nursing colleagues at the Evidence-Based Practice and Innovation Symposium.
John Muir Health nurses value professional growth, life-long learning, and engagement in professional organizations. Not only do our nurses attend national conferences to learn more about developments in evidence-based practice, but many of our nurses are selected to deliver presentations or have authored articles and books to share what we are doing at John Muir Health and to make an impact on the advancement of nursing and the health of the communities we serve.
