Cancer Services

We are proud to expand our Cancer Services to conquer cancer by improving prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination for patients close to home. The addition of Diablo Valley oncologists to John Muir Health oncologists brings together capabilities from two extensive organizations to form a new John Muir Health Cancer Medical Group. This new Medical Group provides for Cancer Centers and Service locations throughout the East Bay. It also allows for our continued focus on the individualized needs of our patients.

John Muir Health uses a multidisciplinary approach to tackle complex and difficult cancer cases. Our tumor boards focus their efforts to design individualized treatment plans that will improve outcomes for each patient.

The team of nurses, nurse navigators and other healthcare professionals collaborate to provide expert care from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. You and your family actually get to know the people who are treating you, and they, in turn, get to know you. Our comprehensive cancer care program offers the same high standards of an academic program in a very personal setting. We provide compassionate patient care that empowers you, offers hope, and aims to extend and improve your quality of life.
