Non-Invasive Heart Tests

Our non-invasive cardiologists help diagnose and manage your heart condition with advanced testing and imaging. As the name suggests, non-invasive heart tests are non-surgical tests that typically don’t require any cutting or piercing of your skin.

Both our Concord and Walnut Creek Medical Centers are accredited and recognized by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission for excellence in patient care for our echocardiography standards. Depending on the specific type of test, non-invasive heart tests may be performed at our hospitals, physician offices or other outpatient locations.

Common non-invasive tests we offer include:

  • Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography
  • Treadmill and dobutamine stress echocardiography
  • Treadmill testing
  • Echocardiography with agitated saline
  • Echocardiography with definity contrast
  • Pulmonary hypertension assessment
  • 3-D assessment of aortic valve for stenosis or regurgitation
  • 3-D assessment of mitral valve for mitral regurgitation
  • Electrocardiography (EKG)
  • Pharmacologic and treadmill nuclear myocardial perfusion scan
  • Coronary computed tomographic angiography (CCTA)
  • Coronary Artery Calcium (CAS) Test
  • Holter monitoring for 48 hours to 14 days
  • Tilt table testing

All tests require a doctor’s order. Find a cardiologist near you.
