It takes a lot for parents to entrust their child to a surgeon. I understand that parents have a lot of fear when their child needs surgery. I take time to educate the family about their child's condition and to guide them through what to expect throughout the surgery and recovery process.

I use minimally invasive surgical techniques whenever possible, including single-incision laparoscopic surgeries. My goal is to achieve the least possible amount of pain and scarring and the quickest return to normalcy for the entire family. There is no sweeter reward than seeing a kid smile and say “I am all better!”

I love being a pediatric surgeon because I get to help make kids better by using my hands. What's great about having kids as patients is that even if they are very sick, they can bounce back and recover much better than adults.

I want parents to know that we have access to the most advanced minimally invasive technologies and that as a surgeon, I work with an entire team of excellent providers. I collaborate with other subspecialists to achieve an outcome that is superior than if just one doctor was treating the patient alone.
