Junior Achievement Of Northern California Honors 2022 Educators And Volunteers Of The Year

WALNUT CREEK, CA – Junior Achievement (JA) of Northern California announced today that it will be honoring 12 individuals and four companies who have made outstanding contributions to JA’s mission at their upcoming 2022 Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame Luncheon on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 11am to 1:30pm in San Francisco.

EY, John Muir Health, Salesforce, and U.S. Bank have been nominated for induction into JA Business Hall of Fame. JA’s signature annual fundraising event honors outstanding corporate partners within Northern California who have demonstrated a passion for business and serve as a role model for entrepreneurship, arduous work ethic, and impactful leadership.

In the past, Junior Achievement sought to honor individual CEOs. Past laureate inductees have included founding HP partners William Hewlett (1987) and David Packard (1990), as well as Steve Jobs, John Chambers, Jeff Weiner, Benno Dorer, and most recently, Ken McNeely, President of AT&T West.

The JA of Northern California Educator and Volunteer of the Year Awards recognize exemplary contributions made by companies and individuals that inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. The passion and commitment of the awardees enables JA to deliver programs to kindergarten through high school students across Northern and Central California. Together, JA volunteers deliver JA curriculum with partner JA educators to provide innovative, hands-on work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy education to more than 50,000 Northern Californian students each year.
