Attention all new and soon to be graduate nurses! We will be starting up another RN Residency Program in August 2023!
The program is set to begin on Monday, August 14th, 2023 and will run over a one year period. The curriculum is designed to support newly graduated nurses in their transition as professional nurses and members of the healthcare team. Applicants must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing within 18 months of program start date and have less than 6 months experience as an RN in an acute care setting. Each resident will participate in monthly education and is assigned a preceptor who guides the hands on clinical experience. Residents will also complete a facilitated Evidence Based Practice project by the completion of the program.
“RN New Grad Residency” job positions for CMC and WCMC will be posted for external applicants beginning May 1st, 2023 through May 31st, 2023. During this time you will be able to access the job position online and complete the application process. We will not be able to process any applications beyond May 31st . Anticipated clinical openings include Med-Surg, Step-Down, NICU and OR.
When completing your application, there is a place to attach a cover letter and resume. You will also be asked to submit two letters of recommendation. A letter from a clinical instructor and one from your Preceptor during your senior preceptorship is preferred. In your cover letter, please indicate the patient care units where you are most interested in working, your preferred shift and your nursing school GPA. You must be a CA licensed RN by July 13th, 2023 to be considered.

Once your application has been processed, and if selected, we anticipate interviews to begin the week of June 26th. If you are selected for an interview you will be contacted by one of our Human Resources representatives to set up a panel interview.
