In this structured Walnut Creek Campus student program candidates are interviewed and screened through our partnership schools. Students are to contact the department indicated at the following partner high schools:

  • Acalanes High School—Career Center
  • Athenian—Community Service
  • Berean Christian—College Career
  • California High—Career Counselor
  • Campolindo High—College and Career Center
  • Carondelet—Community Service
  • De La Salle—College Center
  • Dougherty Valley High—Career Center
  • Las Lomas—Career Center
  • Miramonte—Career Center
  • Monte Vista—Career Center
  • Northgate High School—College and Career Advisor
  • San Ramon Valley High—Career Center
  • Ygnacio Valley High—Health Career Academy

We require students to be at least 14.5 years old, second semester freshmen, and with a grade point average 3.0 plus. A mandatory orientation takes place on a Saturday each fall and spring; at least one parent or guardian is expected to attend. Afterward, students receive additional training and are scheduled for one three-hour shift per week, year-round. Students are expected to volunteer through the end of senior year.
