Our imaging sites are located throughout the county are staffed by licensed technologists and board-certified radiologists. With the variety of services offered in the medical imaging departments, John Muir Health's dedication and success in delivering quality care is reflected in the information below.
All of our mammography departments completed the American College of Radiology (ACR) Accreditation Program and are fully accredited. In addition, we have ACR accreditations in Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, MRI and Computed Tomography.
Medical Imaging procedures requiring appointments are made by calling a centralized scheduling phone number. Our courteous and professional scheduling staff can assist you by offering appointments at the most convenient location and time for your schedule.
Once your physician has determined that a Medical Imaging exam is necessary for your care and we have received your physician’s order, only one phone call is needed. Also known as diagnostic medical sonography, this is a safe and painless imaging process. It uses high-frequency sound waves, without radiation, to generate images of the internal structures of the body.
