Recovery

“We are very much centered on after-care and dealing with the after effects of cancer. Obviously the number one goal is to cure cancer. But the number two goal is to return patients to their quality of life before they started receiving treatment.”

Urologic Cancer Recovery

Whenever possible, we try to use minimally invasive techniques to treat your urological cancer in order not to impair your urinary or sexual functionality. However, if those functions are impacted, we do have surgical and medical options we can discuss with you.

We make every effort during treatment to preserve your urinary and sexual functions.

Your managing physician is your primary resource for treatment and recovery options. The Nurse Navigator is available to support you during your treatment, helping you and your family understand all the different treatment options and pointing you in the right direction for additional resources. Feel free to contact her anytime during and after your treatment.

Hi! I'm here to help answer your questions.
