Volunteer at Our Walnut Creek Medical Center
Our dedicated and caring volunteers provide essential support and help to our nursing and administrative staff, as well as directly to our patients.
Typical volunteer duties include:
- Helping issue badges and give directions at the main entrance
- Escorting patients and visitors to destinations within the hospital
- Arranging wheelchair assistance for patients and visitors
- Helping patients and guests at the Surgery desk
- Assist nursing staff with key duties on patient floors
- Helping at other patient care departments, such as imaging and labs
- Delivering flowers, cards and other gifts to patients
- Supporting our emergency department / trauma center team
- Helping at the Muir Galleria gift shop
- Assisting with other special projects, as needed
