If you are hospitalized at John Muir Medical Center for elective surgery or treatment of an unexpected illness or injury, your physician may order Rehabilitation Therapy Services to help you regain your abilities with regard to self-care, mobility, communication, cognitive skills, and/or activities of daily living.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Services provides consultations and treatment in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and neuropsychology. Our therapists have extensive skills in evaluating patients who have a wide range of diagnoses. Your medical needs are combined with their evaluation results to create an individualized treatment plan that will help you reach your goals.
