Physical Therapy for TMD

 

Our Physical Therapists at John Muir Health treat patients with TMD. We examine the temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and cervical spine. The treatment plan may include patient education, joint and soft tissue mobilization, biofeedback, individualized exercise programs, Rocabado 6x6, ergonomics, posture training and modalities.  Our team works closely with the referring physician and dentist. Our goal is to help patients achieve better outcomes and pain relief through evidence based practices and exceptional service.
